Installing
Download PPROLint from your aescripts account, install its .ccx file and open its panel in Premiere Pro.
PPROLint is a UXP plugin for Premiere Pro. It needs Premiere Pro 25.6 or later, on macOS or Windows.
Download
PPROLint is sold and delivered by aescripts + aeplugins: Get PPROLint on the home page leads to its page there. Download it from your aescripts account. The download holds the plugin as a .ccx file, the package of a UXP plugin.
To update PPROLint later, download the new version from your aescripts account and install it the same way.
Install the .ccx file
Quit Premiere Pro first, then use one of these:
-
Double-click the
.ccxfile. The Creative Cloud desktop app opens and asks you to confirm the installation. It may show a warning first, as for any plugin installed from a file. -
The ZXP / UXP Installer from aescripts + aeplugins: drop the
.ccxfile on it. See aescripts.com/learn/zxp-installer. -
Adobe's command-line installer, the Unified Plugin Installer Agent (UPIA):
macOS "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Desktop Common/RemoteComponents/UPI/UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent/UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent" --install /path/to/PPROLint.ccxWindows "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\RemoteComponents\UPI\UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent\UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent.exe" /install C:\path\to\PPROLint.ccxAdobe lists what its error codes mean.
Do not copy the plugin's files into Adobe's plugin folders by hand: Premiere only loads plugins it installed itself.
Open the panel
In Premiere Pro, choose Window > UXP Plugins > PPROLint > PPROLint. The panel docks like any other: drag its tab next to your timeline.
Its toolbar has Check now and Settings. Settings opens a second panel, PPROLint Settings, also in Window > UXP Plugins > PPROLint.
