Translations
Give a rule's name, description, messages and labels a text in each language of Premiere.
A rule speaks the languages of Premiere's interface: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese. Each of its texts (name, description, messages and label wordings) can have one text per language.
You edit in the panel's language
The editor edits the texts in the panel's language. The footer says which one:

Other languages keep their own texts. A rule needs English; a language without its own text shows the English one.
Translate a rule
- Write the rule in English first: set the panel's language to English in the settings, under General > Language.
- Switch the panel's language to the language to add, and open the rule again.
- Each text without a translation shows the English one, with a note under it. Type the translation over it.

- Save. Repeat for each language.
Language: Auto follows Premiere's own language.
Translate whole sentences: word order changes between languages, and plural forms differ too. Values that must be worded per language, such as a marker type, are labels.
In a rule file
A translated text is an object keyed by locale, { "en_US": "…", "fr_FR": "…" }. See Messages.
