Terms of service
These terms govern the license to use PPROLint, a panel for Adobe Premiere Pro, published by [TO FILL: legal name of the publisher], [TO FILL: registered address] ("we"). By buying, activating or using PPROLint, you accept them.
Buying through aescripts
PPROLint is sold by Aescripts, Inc., doing business as aescripts + aeplugins("aescripts"). You buy from aescripts, which charges you, issues your receipt, delivers PPROLint and handles its trial, license activation and deactivation, and refunds, under its terms and conditions. The right to use PPROLint itself is granted by us, under these terms.
What the license gives you
The license lets you use PPROLint, for personal or professional work, within the limits aescripts states for it when you buy. You activate it in the License Settings dialog of the panel, with your aescripts account.
The license is personal: it is not a subscription, and it does not include the right to resell, rent, sublicense or transfer it, except as aescripts' terms allow or with our written agreement.
What you may not do
- share your license, or use it beyond the limits it was sold with;
- circumvent, disable or tamper with the license checks;
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer PPROLint, except where the law allows it despite this clause;
- remove notices of copyright or trademarks.
If you break these terms, we may end your right to use PPROLint after telling you why.
Your rules and your projects
PPROLint only reads the active sequence and reports what it finds: it never changes your project. The rule files you write are yours. Your projects, sequences and media stay on your computer, and the panel sends nothing to us; see the privacy policy.
Requirements
PPROLint requires Adobe Premiere Pro 25.6 or later on macOS or Windows, licensed separately from Adobe. PPROLint is not affiliated with Adobe. Adobe and Premiere Pro are trademarks of Adobe Inc.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by aescripts, under its refund policy; see our refund policy.
Warranty
PPROLint reports possible problems in a timeline; it does not guarantee that a sequence is free of mistakes, and an unusual clip is not necessarily wrong. You remain responsible for checking your work before delivering it. If you are a consumer, you keep the legal guarantees of conformity that apply to digital content in your country. Beyond them, PPROLint is provided as is.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for PPROLint is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue or missed deadlines. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page says when they last changed. The terms in force when you bought a license continue to apply to it.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and can bring a claim before its courts. Before any claim, write to support@pprolint.com: we will try to solve the problem with you.
