Privacy policy
PPROLint checks your Premiere Pro sequences on your computer. Your projects, sequences, media and rule files never leave it, and the panel sends nothing to us. This policy describes the little data we do process, and who handles your purchase and your license.
Who is responsible

What we process, and when
When you buy, try or activate PPROLint
PPROLint is sold and licensed by Aescripts, Inc., doing business as aescripts + aeplugins. Your aescripts account, your purchase and payment, the trial, the activation and deactivation of your license in the panel's License Settings dialog, and refunds are handled by aescripts, as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
In the panel
The panel sends nothing to us: no timeline data, no file names, no usage statistics, no crash reports. Its license check goes to aescripts, as described above.
On this website
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. Its fonts and search are served from the site itself. The servers hosting it may keep technical logs (IP address, date, requested address, browser) for a short time, for security and troubleshooting. The links to buy PPROLint lead to aescripts.com, under its own policy.
When you write to us
We use your email address and what you write to answer you. When your message is about a purchase, a license or a refund, we forward it to aescripts, which handles them.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To perform our contract with you (GDPR, art. 6(1)(b)): answering your requests about PPROLint, and forwarding to aescripts the ones it handles.
- Our legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the website secure.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
Who receives it
- our hosting provider, which runs the website;
- aescripts, when we forward a request about a purchase, a license or a refund.
When data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, on its standard contractual clauses, or on its being necessary to handle your request.
How long we keep it
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer you and follow up on your request.
- Technical logs of the website: a short time, as described above.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to support@pprolint.com. For the data aescripts holds about your account, purchases and licenses, use the rights its privacy policy describes. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
